Use telecommunications efficiently and effectively to access remote information and communicate with others in support of direct and independent learning and for pursuit of personal interests. (4)

This is my Storybird book, It will show different animals from different parts of the world.
I wanted to share a story about some of my favorite animals and where they live. I always enjoyed story time in school and I want my students to enjoy it too.
Use illustrations and details in a story to describe its characters, setting, or events.
  1. Read closely to determine what the text says explicitly and to make logical inferences from it; cite specific textual evidence when writing or speaking to support conclusions drawn from the text.
  2. Determine central ideas or themes of a text and analyze their development; summarize the key supporting details and ideas.
  3. Analyze how and why individuals, events, and ideas develop and interact over the course of a text.
This is important because children need to have a good imagination, by reading to them and having
them pick out books to read on their own it will spark a love for learning.  This will also help them to have a good imagination that will help them later on in life.
