Every kid loves to look up at the night sky and see the sun and the moon.
When you look up at the moon it seems to changed every night. Some nights it is really full and bright, other nights it is a sideways smile, and some nights their is no moon at all.
By knowing how the moon moves around the earth you understand why takes so many different shapes.
Students need to know this because it is a part of science that will help them later on in different science classes as they get older.
